Thanks everyone for coming to see us last night at the Rave. We had a blast (beats) and many fond memories have been burned to storage.
Most notable was a young woman screaming at a man with long hair and a beard about the Dethklok performance being too short. What she didn't realize was that she was screaming at Gene Hoglan. Oblivious, she made a comment about him being irrelevant and walked away. Gene's response, "I like to keep it that way."
Classic.
We're on hiatus for two weeks for Turkeyday, then it's to YOTI on the 30th for a headliner!
After the Battle of the Bands Finale on Dec 29, which we will win with YOUR help, we'll be taking a couple months off from gigging to hit the studio and start working on a new album.
Whether you're with friends, family, coworkers, or home alone with a TV dinner, have a great Thanksforgiving! This year be thankful simply to be sucking wind and that the polar ice caps still exist.

CANCELED: Penny Road Pub, FRi NOV 9
Sorry folks, but the performance tomorrow night at Penny Road Pub is canceled.
It's all good- the venue is having some personnel issues and no sound man will be there. If you or someone you know is a live audio expert willing to work Friday night for free, let us know.
Perhaps the show will go on, but more likely you'll have to catch us next Thursday at the Rave.

Desert Earth LIVE at Penny Road Pub (Barrington), Fri NOV 9, 9:00PM
Yo yo yo homies, we're looking forward to seeing you THIS FRIDAY November 9 at Penny Road Pub for another installment of Desert Earth!
Thanks again to everyone at the Silvie's Lounge show. We were all amazed by their....interesting choice of juke box songs and mixed drinks. Oh, and we all had the wonderful opportunity to practice our circus skills by walking the concrete plank! Certainly one for the history books there...
The Penny Road performance this Friday promises to be one of our more raucous shows, with the home court crowd out to celebrate the fresh, new weekend and our first appearance in the far western territories- as of yet still wild, uncharted, and in need of conquering.
So don't be a turd! Get out into that cold November rain (cue G&R) and let us facilitate your evacuation from daily life.

Desert Earth survives round one of Battle of the Bands (Milwaukee)
Many thanks to everyone who attended tonight's show in Milwaukee... it was a late Sunday night, and many of you endured several hours of music not exactly to your liking before we hit the stage (last but not least!).
Your support helped us survive round one of Battle of the Bands! Emerging from the arena bruised, battered, and deaf, we return home to lick our wounds, wash the musical blood from our hands, and prepare for FINALS.
Date to be announced, we stand to pull in some valuable loot if we bring this one home. Final round booty is $500 and 20 hours of badly needed studio time! Not too shabby!
Stayed tuned for the date announcement. We'll need to mobilize all the troops we can muster to smite those who oppose Desert Earth on the stage of battle!

Doors open at 5:00PM, and we're on at 9:00PM for thirty minutes of gladiatorial, sonic domination. Ten nefarious opponents face certain felling at the hands, feet, and vocal cords of Desert Earth!
